For this treatment, we use a combination of technologies to treat cellulite.  Ultrasound Cavitation and Radio Frequency  (RF) technologies.  By combining these two modalities, we can  address cellulite at various levels, promoting  skin tightening, fat reduction, and improved  circulation.

 Cellulite appears to result from an interaction between the connective tissue in the dermatological layer that lies below the surface of the skin, and the layer of fat that is just below it.  Within the fat layer there are fibrous connective cords that tether the skin to the underlying muscle, with the fat lying between. As fat cells accumulate, they push up against the skin, while the long, tough cords pull down. This creates an uneven surface or dimpling. 

In women, the fat cells and connective tissue in this layer are arranged vertically. If the fat cells protrude into the layer of skin, this gives the appearance of cellulite.
In men, the tissue has a criss-cross structure, which may explain why are less likely to have cellulite than women.

NOTICEABLE RESULTS:  fully, after  6-12 weeks after the last session

 TREATMENT INTERVAL: 6 days apart 

• Outer thigh
• The inner side of the thighs

• WATER! WATER! WATER! Drink at least 2-3 litres of water everyday during your course of treatments and for 1 week  following your last treatment.
• It is important to topically stimulate the treatment area following your session. We advise  massaging the area everyday to help stimulate the process of lymphatic drainage.  
• Maintaining a low calorie, low carbohydrate, low fat, and low sugar diet for 24 hours  pre-treatment and three days post-treatment will help achieve the best results.  
• A minimum of 20 minutes of elevated heart rate cardio exercise is required post-treatment. This is best to be done immediately after the treatment, and for three days  following. This is to ensure the stored energy released by the Cavitation process is burnt  off. 
• If cardio is not your style, this where infrared sauna sessions may assist, as it has a  similar effect on the body 

Patience is Key for Results. It’s important to note that while ultrasonic cavitation has proven effective at reducing localized fat deposits, results may not be evident immediately following treatment. In fact, it can take several weeks or even months before they become visible. However, it’s important to be patient and persistent with your treatments, as consistent effort and a healthy lifestyle will help you achieve your desired results.

Total Contraindications:

•  Active Cancer – Treatment must be avoided, as to not exacerbate disease. 
• Advanced untreated diabetes – Skin is fragile. 
• Blood Thinners – Can cause bruising. 
• Coagulation disorder or bleeding tendency - Can cause bruising. 
• Impaired Circulation – Can reduce treatment efficacy, cause tingling and/or pain depending  on the severity of the condition. 
• Lack of Normal Skin Sensation – Increases risk of burns. 
• Malignant Tumours – Under no circumstance we can treat client with malignant  tumours or cancer as treatment could aggravate their condition. 
• Pacemaker or Internal Defibrillator – Machine and treatment can affect the function of these. 
• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding – Patient has to wait until no longer pregnant or breastfeeding. Recent Surgery – Treatment may affect healing process. 
• Severe cardiovascular disease, circulation troubles (Thrombus Arterial, Sclerosis, etc) –  Treatment may aggravate condition. 
• Tuberculosis – Is contagious and impairs and debilitates the person. 
• Uncontrolled Low Blood Pressure – Needs to be under control  
• Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure – Needs to be under control 
• Untreated Thyroid Disease or other Hormonal Disorders – Treatment may affect blood levels,  should seek clearance from doctor and disease or disorder should be under control.
• Extreme Sensitivity – Will not tolerate heat. 

Conditions that need a doctors letter to confirm the treatment is suitable before treatments can begin: 

• Epilepsy
• Transplant Anti-Rejection Drugs
• Thyroid Disease 
• Heart Disease 
• Hypertension (High blood pressure treated with medication)
• Cancer - after 12 months

The list below is of things that require a waiting period until you can start treatments:

• Recent surgery (wait 6 months)
• Recent scars (wait 6 months)
• Open lesions (avoid area)
• Skin diseases (avoid area)
• Infection (avoid area)
• Antibiotics (wait until course completed)
• Inflammation (avoid area)
• Varicose veins (avoid area)
• Prosthesis/silicone implants (avoid area)
• Metal implants/screws (avoid area)
• Metal contraceptive coil (avoid area)
• Depilatory creams (wait 2 weeks)
• Areas being treated with IPL or Laser (wait 2 weeks)
• Areas being treated with Botox® (wait 3 months) or dermal fillers (wait 2 weeks)
• Suntan (sun must be avoided the entire duration of the treatment regime)
• Chronic inflammation (depending on severity of chronic inflammatory conditions - consider that treatment will increase inflammation and anti-inflammatory medications reduce the effectiveness of the treatment - please discuss with your doctor first.
